Whether it’s redesigning a play area for a child in a wheelchair, planning holiday shopping strategies for an adult with a heart disorder or modifying job tasks so a returning veteran with a traumatic brain injury can return to work, Occupational Therapists (OT’s) make a huge difference in people’s lives.
Here at AIC, we know the best way to determine if a path is right for you is to try it for yourself. That's why we're offering weekly Occupational Therapy Shadow Days on Fridays from 10:00 AM - 1:30 PM, giving you the chance to:

Here at AIC, we know the best way to determine if a path is right for you is to try it for yourself. That's why we're offering weekly Occupational Therapy Shadow Days on Fridays from 10:00 AM - 1:30 PM, giving you the chance to:
- 10:00 AM: Arrive at the Admissions Office in DAR Hall and experience a campus tour with a Student Ambassador, including plenty of time to explore our state-of-the-art OT facilities.
- 10:30 AM: Meet with an experienced Admissions Counselor about the admissions process.
- 11:00 AM: Sit down with the OT Program Director for an insightful conversation and have all your pressing questions answered.
- 11:30 AM: Join us in the Dining Commons for a delicious lunch.
- 12:30 PM: Envision yourself as a student and sit in on a Applied Kinesiology Lab class.
- 1:30 PM: Conclude your day by getting any last-minute questions answered by an Admissions representative.
- Optional: Meet with Financial Aid to discuss financial options and/or Residence Life to discuss on campus housing. Please let us know if you wish to schedule one or both of these meetings in advance.
